Ed Bloch Interfaith Youth Award
Ayah Osman is a first-generation Sudanese American storyteller, poet, and student activist born and based in Niskayuna, NY. Ayah got her start as a part of Children at the Well, an interfaith storytelling organization that she has been involved in since, first as a student, then an assistant coach, and finally as a coach, teaching young adults the art of storytelling for over five years. In addition to interfaith work, Ayah’s passion for poetry and activism is a huge part of her life. She is currently a junior at Union College.
Ayah will be honored at the Fall Awards Celebration, September 28, at the Italian-American Club.
