Each year the Capital Area Council of Churches celebrates the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Bringing community members together to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy and raise money for scholarships to high school seniors attending college is the of this interfaith celebration. Rev. Reverend Michael-Aaron Poindexter of Macedonia Baptist Church is this year’s speaker. A recording is being assembled and will be made available on the CACC YouTube channel and Facebook page. A link to the recording will be posted on January 15 by 7 pm. Donations can be made online or mailed to the CACC office.
