Rev. Dr. Carlyle Adams Ecumenical & Interfaith Award
Miranda Rand was born and educated in England and immigrated to the U.S. in 1966. She has long been a leader in the ecumenical and interfaith worlds. As Coordinator for CACC’s Ecumenical Witnesses of Baptism program, Miranda matches requests from member churches to volunteers dedicated to witnessing the Sacrament of Baptism. She is currently President of the Interfaith Community of Schenectady and serves on the board of Working Group on Girls of Schenectady, Inc. an organization dedicated to empowering Schenectady City School District Middle School girls to build healthy life habits.
Miranda will be honored on October 13 at the Fall Dinner Celebration.
