Wanted Publicity Coordinator for the Capital Region CROP Hunger Walk. Looking for a Regional Public Relations and Media Coordinator. This is a part-time 10-month (Sept. – June) position. The focus is on coordinating all publicity aspects for several local CROP Hunger Walks including those in Albany, Schenectady and Troy. Duties range from designing logos, flyers, and other publicity materials, to recruiting local businesses as sponsors and working with radio, TV and newspapers.Â
A candidate for this position needs a variety of computer skills These include desktop publishing and designer skills, ability to develop own objectives and meet them, and willingness to solicit businesses for sponsorships. The position is supervised by the Capital Area Council of Churches. Use the button below for a copy of the job description.
