Membership in the Capital Area Council of Churches (CACC)
Organized in 1941 as “The Federation of Churches in Albany and Vicinity,” the Capital Area Council of Churches (CACC) is an ecumenical fellowship of close to 90 congregations from the Anglican, Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox traditions in Albany County and southern Rensselaer County. There are also several local ecumenical organizations that are Members of the CACC.
Organizations that support at least one of the purposes of the Capital Area Council of Churches are Affiliates of the CACC.
