What is the Capital Area Council of Churches?
The Capital Area Council of Churches (CACC) is a fellowship of more than 85 faith communities in the Capital District of Albany, NY.
The Council of Churches provides a range of services and programs dedicated to bringing congregations together in a commitment to an ecumenical movement in a changing world by facilitating working together, exploring divergent viewpoints, and seeking to bear faith and effective witness.
These initiatives, including ministries, worship services, educational forums, ecumenical meetings, publications, an interfaith prayer room and an emergency shelter are intended to help member churches pursue service, advocacy, and celebration, and also serves to respond to critical needs in the Capital District.
