YOUR church is responding to the needs of those who are hungry: The
CROP Walk
The
Capital Area Council of Churches coordinates the Church World Service
CROP Walks in the Capital region in the spring of each year. Nearly
$200,000 is raised annually by the combined walks in Albany and the
surrounding counties. One quarter of the money raised assists local
food pantries and soup kitchens. The remainder is used by Church
World Service and its partner agencies for relief and development
projects in many countries around the world.
